Wine and Wildflowers at the Mandola Estate Winery
Spring is in the air at the Texas Hill Country Wineries and we are all patiently awaiting the arrival of the beautiful Texas Wildflowers. Due to the rains it is set to be a record wildflower year! Come visit The Mandola Estate winery during this picturesque trail, April 9-11 and 16-18, and take in all the beauty along with tasting.
The Texas Hill Country Wineries have refreshed the 2010 Wine and Wildflower Trail. A first for this event is a ticketed trail with great benefits and value for you the consumer. Couples tickets cost $60, singles ticket cost $35.
The wine trail is all about the wine so the Mandola Estate Winery will offer 3 complimentary tastes of any wine along with a 15% discount on 3 bottle purchases for ticketed guests. Taste our wines, choose your favorites and bring them home to enjoy with friends, family and neighbors.
Wildflowers are everywhere on the highways and in the fields. Wishing you could get that beauty in your yard? Trail visitors will receive a packet of wildflower seeds for you to plant in your yard, along your driveway or surrounding your mailbox. Wildflower seed packets provided by the Texas Department of Agriculture and Wildseed Farms are available for each ticketed consumer. Two packets per ticket will be distributed at the wineries.
Wine and food pairing can always increase your wine tasting experience. Texas Hill Country Wineries have partnered with the Irish Dairy Board to offer you award-winning wines paired with a variety of delectable cheeses. Each winery will have an assortment of cheeses to pair with their wines that will enhance the taste of both the wines and cheeses.
