–Driftwood Estate Winery
Driftwood Estate Winery is owned and operated by Gary Elliott. The vineyard, planted in 1998, is 20 acres with 14 acres currently in production with 6 grape varieties.
We received our winery license in July of 2002 and did our first commercial grape crush with the August 2002 harvest. Our first commercial wine was bottled in February 2003 and we opened the winery to the public on March 1, 2003. Our first year production totaled about 1,200 cases, which included 5 different wines. We now produce over 5,000 cases.
Come by and enjoy the view from our 1,100 square foot deck overhanging the bluff, our picnic area under the oak trees or our new Pavillion next to the tasting room. They all have a beautiful view of the hill country and vineyard below.

–Duchman Family Winery
The Duchman Family Winery was founded in 2004 by Drs. Lisa and Stan Duchman in a quest to bring world-class winemaking to Central Texas and the Texas Hill Country.
The winery continues to source the majority of its fruit from the Texas High Plains AVA, where cooler temperatures and a more “continental” climate are ideal for the production of fine wine made from Italian grape varieties. As the winery grows, the Duchmans remain committed to their goal to produce food-friendly fine wine in Central Texas using Texas-grown fruit exclusively.
All of the winery’s current releases can be sampled and purchased at the winery’s tasting room and the estate’s beautiful Italianate villa and grounds are open to visitors who can enjoy their wines with a picnic lunch! We have picnic tables outdoors in the shade of the oaks, or pick a cozy spot inside the winery hallway with a windowed view into the barrel room, fermentation tank, or production area for bottling and labeling of our wines.

–Salt Lick Cellars
In 2006, Scott Roberts, the current owner of the Salt Lick, and the Roberts family planned to dig their roots a little deeper into the family land as a continuation and natural progression of the Salt Lick family tradition. 35 acres of different grape varieties were planted including Tempranillo, Mourvedre, Syrah and Granache. The first bottle of Tempranillo was bottled and available to wine enthusiasts in late 2008.
To accommodate Hill Country adventurers in search of fine wine outside of the city limits, Salt Lick Cellars was created and a tasting room built in 2009. Today, Salt Lick Cellars offers many fine wines available for tasting and purchase including Tempranillo, Sangiovese, Farm to Market blends, Mourvedre, Syrah, Sparkling White and the house BBQ RED and BBQ WHITE wines.
Salt Lick Cellars partners with Texas-based bottlers, labeling companies and marketers. Salt Lick Cellars takes great pride in the wines provided, and plans to continue producing quality wines in the Texas Hill Country for future generations to enjoy.
The Salt Lick Cellars tasting room rests under heritage oak trees with outdoor seating on a grassy lawn, next door to the Salt Lick Restaurant. Salt Lick Cellars wines are available for purchase on-site.

From special Christmas wines to seasonal fruit wines, Wimberley Valley Winery goes beyond the status quo to bring creativity and freshness to the world of wine.
Our winemaker, Dean Valentine, has been with the winery from the start and continues to masterfully balance innovative wine production techniques and a commitment to maintaining the quality for which Wimberley Valley Winery has become known.
The original winery has frequently undergone renovations and additions as the company has grown, and today the facility is capable of fermenting and storing 25,000 gallons of handcrafted wine using temperature controlled stainless steel cooperage to precisely exact the production and maintain the quality of the wines. Once our precinct was no longer “dry,” we added a beautiful tasting room to our production facility on Lone Man Mountain Road.
