We are extremely happy to announce the addition of several medals to our already nationally recognized portfolio of 100% Texas grown wines. The Lone Star International Wine Competition is one of the highest regarded wine competitions in the southwest and the San Francisco International Wine Competition is the largest and most respected wine competition in the U.S. (if not the world!) We are thrilled not only for our success, but for the high remarks for our neighbors and fellow wineries in the Texas Wine industry.

The 2008 Duchman Family Winery Vermentino has been featured as this May’s “Wine of the Month” on www.texasmonthly.com. Executive editor Jessica Dupuy has featured the 2008 Vermentino in her column for Texas Monthly called “Eat my Words“. Discussing all things food and wine in Texas, her featured blog is an excellent resource for what’s new in the Texas food and Wine scene. Grown in the Texas High Plains AVA at Bingham Family Vineyards, Vermentino has found a natural fit in Texas. Offering notes of perfumed pear and grapefruit, this wine is crisp and refreshing – perfect with seafood and lighter appetizers. Click here to view the post at www.texasmonthly.com.
